We have recently finished a new construction project in Bear Lake Id. This cabin called for Pre-finished James Hardie ‘COLOR PLUS’ vertical board and baton siding, to be installed with Forest Green Alsco soffit and fascia. The fascia was made out of seamless gutter material, to help stop what we call ‘Oil Canning’. Oil canning is where the fascia material becomes rippley. This happens when the fascia is to large. To help reduce this unsightly ‘oil canning’, we custom make the fascia out of a thicker aluminum made for seamless rain gutters.

This project was also installed during the winter months. James Hardie’s Color Plus pre-finsihed siding is a fabulous product, eliminating the need for exterior painting, and reducing the project completion date, since no exterior painting contractors are needed.

This project was complete in Liberty Utah in 2012. Products used on this project were Certainteed Weatherboards, with Miratec trim boards. This project was installed primed and then was painted later in the year. All soffits, fascia, and gutters are aluminum, and were installed prior to painting.
